Fiberglass Pool Installation — Serving Central and the East Coast of Florida
Fiberglass pools are the fastest, lowest-maintenance inground pool you can build in Florida. Right Way installs fiberglass pools throughout the Treasure Coast — from Vero Beach and Sebastian to Melbourne and Port St. Lucie. And because we’re a full-service outdoor living contractor, we build your pool, deck, and enclosure as one project.
Why Fiberglass Makes Sense in Florida
Fast Installation. Most fiberglass pools go from excavation to water in 2–4 weeks. The shell arrives pre-built, which eliminates weeks of on-site curing and finishing that concrete pools require.
Built for Salt and Sun. Fiberglass is naturally resistant to salt corrosion and algae growth — two things Florida pools deal with constantly. The smooth gel-coat surface means fewer chemicals, less scrubbing, and lower ongoing costs.
Lowest Lifetime Cost. No resurfacing every 10 years. No liner replacement every 8. A fiberglass shell lasts the life of your home with minimal upkeep. When you factor in maintenance savings, fiberglass is often the most affordable pool type over 20 years.
Comfortable Underfoot. The smooth, non-abrasive surface is easier on feet, swimsuits, and kids than concrete or exposed aggregate finishes.
How a Fiberglass Pool Install Works
1. Design Consultation — We visit your property, discuss your layout, and help you select the right shell shape and size for your yard. We also plan the deck, enclosure, and any additional features at this stage so everything is coordinated.
2. Permitting — We handle all permits and engineering for Indian River, Brevard, and St. Lucie counties. Typical permitting runs 2–4 weeks.
3. Excavation — Our crews excavate the site to the exact specifications of your chosen shell. We own our excavation equipment, so we’re not waiting on a rental schedule.
4. Shell Set & Plumbing — The fiberglass shell is delivered and crane-set into the excavation. Plumbing, electrical, and equipment connections are completed.
5. Backfill & Deck Work — The area around the shell is backfilled and compacted. Your deck — whether pavers, travertine, or decorative concrete — is built by our licensed mason crew.
6. Enclosure (If Applicable) — If you’re adding a screen enclosure, we coordinate it as part of the same project. No waiting months for a separate contractor to show up.
7. Final Inspection & Startup — We schedule all inspections, fill the pool, balance the water chemistry, and walk you through everything before we leave.
Is Fiberglass Right for You?
Fiberglass is ideal for homeowners who want a low-maintenance pool that installs quickly and holds up to Florida’s coastal environment. The tradeoff is that you’re choosing from pre-molded shapes rather than a fully custom design. We carry a wide range of shell options — from compact plunge pools to large family pools — and most homeowners find a shape that fits their yard perfectly.
If you need a completely custom shape or an extra-large pool, a vinyl liner pool may be a better fit. We’ll help you decide during your free consultation.
Financing a Fiberglass Build
A pool is a home improvement, and it finances like one. HFS Financial and Lyon Financial both run pool-specific programs — long terms, fixed monthly payments, and no prepayment penalty. Seeing your numbers is a soft credit pull, so it doesn't touch your score.
Here's where a single-source build pays off twice. Because the pool, the deck, the screen enclosure and the outdoor kitchen all sit under one contract with one licensed crew, they can all sit on one loan. You're not stacking three financing agreements from three contractors and juggling three payment dates.
📌 Bring These to the Consultation
- ✅ The monthly payment you're comfortable with — not a total budget
- ✅ Everything you eventually want out there, even phase-two items
- ✅ Whether the enclosure and deck go in now or later
- ✅ Any HOA or ARB submittal deadline you're working against
We build the estimate line by line so you can see exactly what each piece costs and decide what goes in the loan. Current lender terms and the application links are on our financing page.

FAQs
How long does a fiberglass pool installation take?
Once permitted, our crews install most fiberglass pools in under 30 days — the pre-built shell skips concrete's weeks of curing. Permitting adds 4–10 weeks up front, so figure 8–12 weeks from signed contract to swimming.
How much does a fiberglass pool cost on the Treasure Coast?
Fiberglass pricing depends on shell size, features, deck, and any enclosure. We give detailed, line-item estimates with no hidden fees. Call for a free consultation and we'll quote a real number for your property.
Are fiberglass pools good for saltwater systems?
Yes — fiberglass is one of the best pool types for saltwater. The gel-coat surface doesn't corrode or degrade from salt the way concrete can, and its smoothness naturally resists algae.
What shapes are available for fiberglass pools?
We carry a wide range of shells — rectangles, freeform, kidney shapes, and compact plunge pools — from small cocktail pools to large family pools. We'll bring a full catalog to your design consultation.
Does Right Way offer financing for pool builds in Vero Beach?
Yes. We offer flexible financing through Lyon Financial and Foundation Finance Company across Indian River, Brevard, and St. Lucie counties — for a pool, an enclosure, or a full outdoor living build. Ask during your consultation.
